eBay stores are a goldmine for B2B outreach: shipping companies, listing-software vendors, photographers, accountants and sourcing agents all sell to eBay merchants. Apex Automation Team builds eBay seller databases every month — here is exactly what is collectable and how we do it.
What is publicly available
- Seller username and store name, store URL and "About" page
- Feedback score and positive-feedback percentage, member-since date
- Item location (city/country) and shipping regions
- Active listing count, top categories, price ranges
- Business seller details (registered business name and address) where the seller is a registered business in the EU/UK
Direct email addresses are not shown by eBay. For outreach we enrich business sellers with their website and public contact page, and clearly separate "contact via store page" rows from email-verified rows.
Collection strategy
We start from category and keyword searches, paginate through results, then visit each unique seller once. Search pages are fetched from eBay's lightweight endpoints where possible, seller pages through a headless browser with human pacing. Concurrency is capped per IP, and every row is validated against a schema before it is written.
Cleaning
The same seller appears in dozens of searches, so deduplication by seller ID is essential. Feedback percentages, currencies and locations are normalised, and store names are cleaned of decorative characters so your mail-merge does not break.
Custom scraper or ready directory?
If you need a whole marketplace or category today, the pre-scraped eBay Sellers Directory (store links, usernames, feedback %, locations — 100% enriched) starts from $0.1–$0.5 per lead. If you need a specific niche, country filter or a weekly refresh, a custom eBay scraper from Apex Automation Team starts around $100 after a free feasibility test.
Compliance notes
Collect only public data, respect rate limits, store personal data lawfully and include an opt-out in outreach. This is engineering guidance, not legal advice.
Tell us your target categories and we will send a sample of the eBay database within hours.
Quick checklist
- Decide categories/keywords and target countries before scraping
- Deduplicate by seller ID, not store name
- Separate business sellers (registered details) from private sellers
- Store the store URL and feedback % with a timestamp
- Enrich with website/contact page only for business sellers
Frequently asked
How many eBay sellers can be collected?
Tens of thousands per marketplace category set. Our historical eBay Sellers Directory ships in sample packs of 5,000 and custom volumes of 10,000–100,000+.
Do you provide seller emails?
eBay does not publish them. Rows carry the store link; business sellers are enriched with public website and contact-page data where available.
